About your privacy and data

Staying on top of your online privacy and data is more important now than it's ever been. As we continue to build out Loop's features and infrastructure, we want to be transparent with you about how we're using your data and the privacy options available to you.


  • Account Information. When you sign up for Loop, we capture and store the below information in our system.

  • First and last name. This information is relayed to our system directly from Apple when you create an account using Apple Sign In.

  • Email address. You have the option to not share or "hide" your full email address from us when you create your account using Apple Sign In.

  • Nickname. The nickname you provide is visible to our internal teams and may one day be visible to others in the app once we introduce "sharing" capabilities.

  • Phone number. During onboarding, we ask you to provide your phone numner and opt-in to receive text messages. You can always opt-out of receiving text messages from Loop by replying "STOP" to any of our texts. Your number will remain in our system even though we won't be able to send you messages.


Situations & Visualizations

Information you share in Loop when creating your custom visualizations are stored in our systems and shared with OpenAI's ChatGPT. Your private account information will NEVER be shared with OpenAI or any other third-party without your explicit consent.


These are the specific areas where information you've entered into Loop is shared with OpenAI's ChatGPT to create your visualization:


  • Situation

  • Goal

  • Blocker

  • Approach

  • Conflict

  • Refine variables, including About Me, About Them, Setting & Location, Coping Skills, What If, and Something Else


Deleting Your Account

You may delete your account at any time by going to your profile, tapping on the upper right menu, and choosing "Delete Account".


Deleting your account will remove all of your basic account data, including your first and last name, email, phone number, and any additional information that’s been relayed to us when you created your account using Apple Sign-In.


We maintain a record of your situation and visualization information, but it is not longer associated with the account information outlined above.
